Announcing York Chamber Music Festival

February 2014 sees the launch of the first York Chamber Music Festival of which Tim is the Artistic Director. Steven Isserlis has agreed to be patron of the festival and support for this exciting new venture is gathering in the city. A feature of the festival is its outreach work among the schools of York and a national competition for under-25s and under 18 chamber music groups. Recitalists involved in the first festival include Tim and violinist Jennifer Pike (BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2002), pianists Martin Roscoe and James Baillieu, and the viola player Matthew Jones.
